Recently, the discussion meeting on the first draft of the group standard "Technical Requirements for Explosion-proof Forklift Type Mobile Robots", jointly led by Chongqing Carey Robotics and Suzhou Safed, was successfully concluded, marking a breakthrough in the development of this standard. The introduction of this standard signals that it will play an important role in the future in the field of hazardous manufacturing of hazardous chemicals, explosives and other hazardous manufacturing, promoting the industry to a safer, standardized direction.
The development of the standard brought together the strength of many parties, including the active participation of four drafting units, namely, EED Transmission, Saifu Intelligence, Heili Industrial Vehicle, Mechanical Development and Hangzhou Fork Intelligence, as well as the active participation of six participating units, namely, Rylant Explosion-proof Vehicle, Anjis Explosion-proof Technology, Tianyi Optoelectronics, Shanghai Electric Appliance Scientific Research Institute, and Zhuhai Chuangzhi. Meanwhile, Wang Yong, Liu Yang and Chen Peifen, deputy directors of CMR Industry Alliance Standard Committee, also participated in the standard-related discussions. The joint efforts of these enterprises and experts provide a solid guarantee for the scientific and practicality of the standard.
The meeting centered on the explosion-proof forklift class mobile robot of a number of key technical indicators for in-depth discussion, and reached a consensus. Not only clarified the explosion-proof forklift temperature range, combustible gas restrictions and other safety performance requirements, but also specifically emphasized the importance of explosion-proof lithium batteries need to have a pressure relief device. Despite the high technical requirements and the challenges of market supply, the standard development team insisted on retaining this clause for the sake of product safety, in order to enhance the explosion-proof safety level of the products.
In addition, the new standard also covers a number of aspects such as risk source management, static electricity accumulation control, and non-surface temperature monitoring, to ensure the stable operation of explosion-proof forklift-type mobile robots in harsh environments and to effectively prevent the occurrence of explosion hazards. These provisions not only reflect the rigorous consideration of technical details, but also a positive response to the industry's safety needs.
Looking ahead, with the expansion of the application of explosion-proof forklifts in the field of hazardous chemicals, the new standard will lead the development of industry standardization.
